WaveLabAudio is using preferable a Fostex mid-high tweeter, since the sound fits best in WaveLabAudio A7 loudspeaker cabinet.

The best model for the WaveLabAudio A7 loudspeaker would be a Fostex T300A. Unfortunately the Fostex T300A is very rare and WaveLabAudio guesses that Fostex in the late 1980th and early 1990th produced and sold only a limited amount of T300A. WaveLabAudio thinks there might be about 25 to 50 pairs ever produced worldwide, since most customers would have rather bought the Fostex T500A. The Fostex T500A was sold at a much lower price and had mostly the same data (2k-40kHz first series October 1988 and 2k-25kHz second series July 1990) with a much lower weight (4.7 kg instead of 9.7 kg).
WaveLabAudio was able to borrow a Fostex T300A for some sound tests, but unfortunately WaveLabAudio has no stock of Fostex T300A available.
Even tough the Fostex T300A is very rare, WaveLabAudio has found the alternatives Fostex T845 and the T945N to fit very well to the WaveLabAudio A7 loudspeaker, too.
